The past year has been one in which I’ve not spent as much time as I’d like doing “pure” calligraphy. However, in my work as a graphic designer, some lettering projects have come up. Here's a few:
Having spent many years hand lettering signs before being rendered useless by a plotter, sticky vinyl and a whole wad of cash, I can appreciate the work you put into these. I too have always been drawing letters even when there was so much more out there to draw. I wanted to say I found your website absolutely inspiring and am glad you are blogging. I'll be watching....
Very cool, as always!
ReplyDeleteAlice! these are outstanding, each has a different strokes quality and feel to it.
ReplyDeleteReally liked!
These samples are really terrific, thank you SO much for sharing them with us... they leave me feeling inspired to go practice!
ReplyDelete您好,我发现您的博客通过谷歌搜索时急救的心脏病发作和您的文章对我来说看起来非常有趣。
ReplyDeleteI adore the lettering of Candied Salmon... not sure how it would taste though ;)
